Jo

Hello, my name is Jo. I am the Owner of Charlie Caterpillars, and i have a Level 7 Diploma in strategic management and leadership. I have over 25 years experience and have been running Charlies since 2002. I am privileged to be in a position to make a difference to the community we live in, we are able to give our children the very best start to their school career. At Charlies we are a work family that cares way beyond our duty.

Jane

My name is Jane and I have worked in Early Years for over 30 years, as a practitioner, Manager, Consultant and Ofsted Inspector. I am very committed to improving outcomes for our youngest children and providing them with the very best care and education to help them thrive as they learn and grow. I have worked for Charlies for over 3 years supporting the development of the training and employment and am now delighted to be supporting the growth and quality of the nursery. As a member of the senior management team I look forward to improving our partnership with parents and getting to know you all.

Sophie

Hello my name is sophie and I am the nursery manager here at charlies. I have worked at charlies since 2016. I have a PGCE with early years specialism, and a BA Hons degree in special needs and inclusion studies and education. I feel extremely privileged to work at Charlies, I have loved watching children and staff flourish and blossom over the years. Staff are always happy and eager to help children develop through challenging purposeful play, and are always there to be supportive, kind and nurturing whilst our children are still developing and exploring their emotions. Charlies strive to go above and beyond, for all our children, staff and parents.

Lisa

Hello my name is Lisa, I’m a qualified Key Person at Charlie Caterpillars, Senior Practitioner and Room Lead for Chrysalis, I’ve been a member of the Charlies team for over 15 years. I love coming to work at Charlie’s as we are one huge work family and the team are very important to me, the children we get to spend every day with are amazing in every way.

Jenny

Hello my name is Jenny, I’m a qualified Key Person at Charlie Caterpillars and joined the team in October 2019. I’m currently at the university of Wolverhampton studying level 5 Early Childhood Studies. I love coming to work at Charlie’s the team are very supportive and the children are amazing. Everyday is a different day.

Katie

Hello, my name is Katie. I am a Key Person at Charlie Caterpillars and I have a Level 3 in Early Years Care and Education. I am new to the team and have been here since February 2020. Charlies team are really friendly, I was a parent before I worked at Charlies so go to know them all really well. They’re all so apporachable and friendly, just the kind of team I’d like to work with.

Hello, my name is Karen. I am a Key Person at Charlie Caterpillars, i have a BA in Childcare and Family Studies. I have worked here since December 2017. I love everyday at Charlies, its a really fantastic work family.

Hello, my name is Amanda. I am the Administrator at Charlie Caterpillars. I have worked at Charlies since November 2017. Charlies is wonderful! It has such a friendly and supportive team, which I am delighted to call my friends

Judy

Hello my name is Judy, I’m a qualified Nursery Practitioner at Charlie Caterpillars and have been since 2002. I love to see the little ones come in and grow into confident young learners when they leave us ready for big school. We are a team at Charlies who support each other and throughout they years have become one big work family.

Karen

Hello, my name is Karen. I am an agency practitioner with Charlies Training and Employment and have worked at Charlie Caterpillars since April 2019. I have a level 4 Advanced Diploma in Childcare and Education and a Level 3 NNEB. I have over 26 years post qualifying experience working within early years. Working at charlies is lovely, it has such a positive vibe, the team are so friendly, welcoming and supportive and everyday is different and rewarding for both staff and children.

Hello, my name is Charlotte. I am a key person support at Charlie Caterpillars, I have worked at Charlies since May 2018. I love being part of the Charlies team, i have learnt so many new skills while being here. All the staff at Charlies are so friendly and all work so amazing as a team, Its a great atmosphere to be in and i was welcomed as soon as i began.
